"Community is the spirit, the guiding light, whereby people come together to fulfill a purpose, to help others fulfill their purpose, and to take care of one another."
The Zen Society is a non-profit grassroots organization, founded in 1985 to support growth towards a deepening spiritual awareness and appreciation of life in all its myriad of forms.
You are invited to experience a unique kind of spirituality. One without borders - an expansive spiritual journey, where the insights of Zen & Buddhism mix with faith-based religions and other wisdom traditions.
Zen-Life is about being human, about the human heart, the human experience, and the pure human potentiality inherent in each of us.
It is an essential spiritual practice designed to enliven the body,
the mind, the emotions, and the soul.
Whether you come to learn about Zen or are beginning your spiritual search, or simply looking for retreat, rest & relaxation, and the nurturing energies of a mature community, or just continuing your growth on a well-traveled path, your visit to The Zen Society will certainly prove to be inspiring, welcoming, and - an experience over which you will never get.
