Dallas Cohousing Initiative
Dallas Cohousing Initiative seeks to explore a very do-able project of 20+
rented apartment units mirroring the working priniciples developed by
the cohousing movement.
The Dallas Cohousing group seeks to establish an affordable cohousing community in Dallas in order to maximize access to public transportation, schools, parks, shopping centers and other amenities, and to reduce reliance on personal motor vehicles. We wish to utilize energy-efficient design wherever practical, and to incorporate play areas and outdoor green spaces. We value cooperation, non-violence, honesty and a diversity of individuals and family types. We welcome people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds.
