Terrasante Village& local community
Tucson, Arizona,
United States
(SW near Sandario Rd. and Ajo Hwy)
Raw Desert at Terrasante
Terrasante Village is located on 8.4 acres of our local community. We are looking for inspired persons to help our mission.
Terrasante Village is a nonprofit dedicated as a living laboratory for sustainability with hands-on experiments in earth architecture, plants and permaculture, energy harvesting, and community in the Sonoran desert about 25 miles southwest of Tucson, Arizona.
At our local community, other land owners include: Harmony and Health Foundation, harmonyandhealth.org, also nonprofit dedicated to that which makes us one.
Kokopeli Gardens, who are developing intensive plant practices suited to the extreme environment, and unusual plants such as moringa.
Also ILA, www.starlightuses.com, which experiments with moonlight.
We are a diverse collection of individuals and groups with knowledge and skills working on common and individually related projects.
Our winter census swells and our summer shrinks, more find us every season.
We have land available for interesting new ideas, harmonius partners- persons or groups with vision and substance. We have good wells, electric grid, but we are slowly going solar. Come walk and talk with us. Help us build health, harmony, and sustainable community that connects with the larger world.
