Grace
Woodstock, New York,
United States
(Anywhere rural in the Northeastern USA)
Grace community is a dream (we have no land and no members…yet) of a vegetarian community in a rural area of the northeastern US. We seek to assemble a team of highly motivated folks who want to create a community grounded in nonviolence. It would be rural, have a CSA, be multigenerational, and active in its surrounding communities. It would seek to minimize its members’ impact on the planet through extensive resource sharing and implementation of permaculture, solar, and other effective means. It would strive to be a joy filled place, with a common house that regularly fills with music, dance, theater, and other participatory activities. It would be entirely drug free, including being free of any type of smoking whatsoever. It would consciously make efforts to support its members in reaching their highest potential, from supporting each other to create meaningful employment to striving to free all members of unhealthy dietary chemicals such as caffeine and refined sugars. We, as a community and as individuals, would strive for authenticity in all facets of our lives. Again, Grace is, at this point, only an idea. We have no land, buildings, members, meetings, etc... If you'd like to help make Grace a reality, please contact us.
Status: an idea and nothing more...
