"We create good places to live!"
We are a housing co-operative for both students and non-students. We serve very low, low, and moderate-income people by providing occupant-managed housing that is as low-rent and high-quality as possible. In the houses, we share some meals, some groceries, and chores are assigned. We maintain a quiet but friendly atmosphere. CHUVA has been in existence since early 2003, and we currently rent three houses near UVA campus. We are hoping to buy a house in the next few years.
