| Welcome Here Circle of Light is a loving effort of combined heartsongs dedicated to Spirit and the Children of the Rainbow Family Tribes and serves as a community network open and free to all.
The Rainbow Family has celebrated an annual gathering of the tribes in North America from the 1st of July through the 7th since approximately 1972.
Rainbow gatherings are attended by thousands of people from every corner of the globe and comprised many individuals, groups, and non-groups, freely associating under the premise of harmony, coming together for a moment in time to pray in a circle for world peace.
This blessing occurs with the rising of the sun on the morning of July 4th in a sacred meadow until high noon. This silent meditative prayer and introspection into a world of harmony is a vibration shared by many worldwide. We are all truly connected as a family of one.
Rainbow Family Gatherings grow and become through autonomous participation that is egalitarian and based on mutual respect, and has open consensual counsel processes that allow for all views and considerations. Share the ride with someone, it's a beautiful way to conserve our natural resources and meet great folks too! This is an open free service and no registration is required to participate. The Rainbow Guide: a freely printed, non-commercial directory of Rainbow friends, tribes, communities, individuals and peaceful co-ops world over and serves to help keep us connected throughout the year. The Guide is compiled and published annually by volunteers with your contributions of profiles, heartsongs, photos, art and whatever you would like to add to the energy. The Guide helps the Family to connect with each other throughtout the year. |
