Hypatia is a community of 13-17 members living in a 150-year old historic mansion with a small city park for a front yard. We are one of 11 houses that are part of the Madison Community Co-op (MCC) system. Our house is in a quiet neighborhood north of the capitol, eight blocks from campus and one block from Lake Mendota. We house vegetarians and non-vegetarians, but house meals are all vegetarian/vegan. Our spacious nonsmoking common areas have hardwood floors, plants, and a fireplace.
