 We are planning a green-built cohousing condo community where individuals can enjoy fellowship by socializing, working, and eating together some of the time, while maintaining total privacy in separately owned and occupied, fully equipped condos for themselves located on the same grounds. Members will participate in some optional shared meals in the clubhouse and in some shared jobs in common areas, and will interact with those who truly want to be neighborly without being intrusive. Community will be ruled by modified consensus, in which every owner has an equal say. Maintenance jobs will be performed by hired outsiders if no one wants to take them on. All units will be one or two bedrooms, just the right size for small households of all ages.
