Northern Beauty
We are a cooperative community on 540 acres in a beautiful mountain valley, adjacent to one of the best glacier-fed salmon rivers in the world.
Kakwa Ecovillage operates as an organic farm and is surrounded by limitless potential for ecotourism and agroforestry.
We are dedicated to building a sustainable culture with notable influences: GEN, Findhorn, Crystal Waters, and The Centre for Alternative Technology. Values honored include: consensus decision making, right livelihood, renewable energy, world music, sacred dance, a spiritual path, alternative medicine, and education.
