Sunrise Farm Community

We have just celebrated our twentieth year. We are 22 members with shares in 600 acres of undulating land, a creek through the middle, and many dams. Each has rights to a house site of 5 acres on a 99-year continuum lease plus shares the rest of the land. We are allowing the bush trees to regenerate. We are land for wildlife. We have horses, few sheep, goats, fowl. We have chestnut and fruit orchards, plus each member has own garden.

We run our own food co-op on a honor scheme; try to have the best of food. We are not into drugs or alcohol. Great primary school bus past our door, but it is not good that the secondary school is 140 miles away. We do have homes for sale (plus a share). At any one time only half of our members live on our farm. Each member pays $200 each year into our farm fund account, so cheap beautiful place to live.
