Niche / Tucson Community Land Trust
Tucson, Arizona,
United States
We are two adults, two children, 3 dogs, and uncounted roadrunners, woodpeckers, lizards, bunnies, and other wildlife living on roughly two acres of gardens, fruit trees and native open space.
We have available three bedrooms in our five bedroom 2 1/2 bath home.
We are rural, yet centrally located. It's a 15 minute bike ride from down town. This is a more rustic environment, with lots of opportunity to create your own space and projects. Our home has a variety of natural building features, including strawbale construction and poured adobe floors.
We are seeking eco-friendly, responsible, fun community members to join us in expanding this peaceful, growing community.
If you are looking for sustainability, self-sufficiency, alternative building, gardens, permaculture, and friendship, this may be the place for you.
Rooms are $300 each and include WiFi, library, and 2 acres of communal space, indoors and out.
Utilities are equally divided amongst the adult residents and average from $30 to $45 a month when the house is full.
New community members are decided upon after meeting everyone in the household. Our intention is to build relationships to ensure a good long term situation for everyone.
This is a very rewarding environment with space for personal creativity indoors and out.
If you are interested in visiting and finding out more, please tell us a bit about yourself, including any previous community experience and what your interests are.

If any of this sounds like you, give us a call or email.
This is a non-smoking household and we discourage more pets (they can be hard on the wildlife) but we will consider a well behaved pet already attached to a great potential community member.
Thank you and have a beautiful day.
