Healing Plant Garden
Camphill Village USA is a community of 240 people, some with special needs, caring for each other and for the earth and working together for the renewal of social, economic, and cultural life. Daily life is based on an active affirmation of the dignity, spiritual integrity, and valued contribution of each individual by providing extended family homes; meaningful, creative work; and a fulfilling cultural life, with opportunities for further education, artistic expression, and personal growth. The village is comprised of 30 houses, barns, and storage sheds for the biodynamic farm, eight workshops, the bakery, the Village Green Cafe, and Fountain Hall--our community cultural center--all on 600 pastoral acres of wooded hills, pastures, ponds, and gardens.
