| Rainbow Hearth Nature Lodge Community, a retreat business and residential community focused on having (wholesome) fun, optimizing healthfulness, enjoying nature and artistic expression. We are located on a large lake in mostly wilderness area of Texas Hill Country, not too far from Austin or the closer towns of Burnet and Marble falls.
Rainbow Hearth is an eco-spiritual center based on permaculture, interspecies communication, music, arts, and life-skills to stay healthy, viable, and in balance with the Earth. Our commitment is to live with dignity, comfort, purpose, delight, and integrity and in heart space.
Rainbow Hearth's nine acres rise from lakeshore to 180 feet above the lake through woods, organic gardens, orchards, and meadows. Our 30-acre neighborhood of private landholders is bordered by enormous ranches recognized as critical for water quality and wildlife habitat. A 900-acre state park is nearby.
Members and neighbors are self-employed in teaching, holistic health, writing, entertainment, landscaping, building, and business consulting. We combine simple lifestyles with high-tech capabilities. The neighborhood children are wise to the ways of nature, and they roam freely and safely.
Interested persons may rent available rooms or houses or purchase lots in the immediate neighborhood. Rainbow Hearth is now devoted to providing retreat space for individuals, couples, families, and small groups.
At this point there are primarily two landowners interested in “playing” but several other owners in the neighborhood are interested in friendly socializing, neighborly helpfulness, and some cooperative efforts. My home and place of business, Rainbow Hearth, can be found online. I am open to and looking for help from intelligent, energetic people with good work habits, who would like to live, meditate and work profitably in a beautiful area that some refer to as an “earth power spot.”
My neighbor has two inexpensive rental houses right on the lake and is interested in having people around who share common values, interests and preferences (peace, quiet, nature, health, music, art, writing, live-and-let-live, healing).
Possibilities exist for employment at the retreat business, rental housing (relatively inexpensive), home sites for sale (relatively expensive), and a sailing club. Status: Primarily work-study exchange | Community location is placed at the center of the zip/postal code, city/state, or city/country (not based on street addresses) |
