We are an urban sangha (community) where members of any religion may practice Zen meditation. Our practice is based on the lineage of the Korean Buddhist Chogye order. We offer meditation courses, retreats, yoga classes, right-livelihood-business workshops, lectures, a yearly peace camp, and special services in addition to our two public services every Sunday.
We also have a dharma worker's program and a three-year seminary program. We occasionally accept resident visitors by arrangement. Physical work is part of Zen training, and our active sangha members get together for gardening, temple maintenance, lawn care, our annual Great Green Recycling Yard Sale, our Big Buddha's Birthday Celebration, and so on.
All are welcome to call or write for further information.
