Yahara Linden Coop is a housing cooperative committed to fairness, diversity, and ecologically responsibility. As of 2006, we are seven adults and two children living in a 100-year-old house in a diverse, well-serviced neighborhood in Madison, Wisconsin. Located near bus lines and bike paths, our house is a short walk from the nearest food co-op, local hardware store, and bicycle repair shop. We are committed to eating seasonal local organic produce and canning and freezing as much as we can during the peak season. Our garden, greenhouse, root cellar, and solar water-heater embody ways we strive to live sustainably within the city.
