Tui Spiritual and Educational Trust
Takaka,
New Zealand
The Tui Community is situated in Wainui Bay, adjacent to Abel Tasman National Park in Golden Bay, Aotearoa, New Zealand. The primary objective of the community is to live in harmony with the land whilst creating an environment supportive of a community living together, seeking wholeness through fulfilling relationships with ourselves, others, and the planet. While Tui has no specific common religious or political creed or spiritual leader, individuals are encouraged to follow their own spiritual paths. The group has had long-term exploration with the human potential. We connect during the week for some regular group meals, community meetings, and other activities such as meditation, yoga, sharings, creative expression, healing and personal growth, celebrations, and working bees, all these helping to evolve our communication. In our events park we hold regular events for youth, men and women, and families, involving permaculture and arts and crafts. We welcome visitors who are genuine in their interest to participate in community life.
