| Triform Camphill Community is a residential, therapeutic community, founded in 1979, that includes young adults with special needs. The mission of Triform is to build a vital community life that provides each person the possibility for healing, self-development, and fulfillment of potential.
Building community life means consciously making the effort to create a healthy social environment, rich in helpful human interactions, where the unique contribution of every person is recognized and appreciated.
Begun in 1940, the Camphill movement today comprises over 90 independent villages, schools, and training centers worldwide, serving people of different ages and backgrounds. Camphill is based on the teachings of educator Rudolph Steiner and pediatrician Karl Koenig, and its hallmark is a genuine recognition of the spiritual integrity of the individual regardless of ability. Camphill places share a common goal of providing residents with dignified meaningful work, a supportive social atmosphere, and a vibrant cultural, artistic, and spiritual life. | Community location is placed at the center of the zip/postal code, city/state, or city/country (not based on street addresses) |
