United States
Stelle 2003 Reunion photo
Stelle began as an intentional community in 1973 based on the book, “The Ultimate Frontier.” In 1982 Stelle became an open community. Over the years, many residents have built aspects of sustainable living, such as green technologies and organic food production, into their lifestyles. Stelle residents comprise a diverse group although the common threads of responsible, conscious, and courteous living are visible.
