Commonly known as "the domes", Baggins End is a community of 28 students housed in fourteen double occupancy dome-shaped buildings.
Constructed in 1972, Baggins End is situated on the northwest sector of the campus adjacent to the Sustainable Research Area and includes approximately three acres of garden space. The living environment of the domes emphasizes community, cooperation, and responsibility. Residents make a significant contribution to the care of their surroundings and program administration, including selection of occupants.

Visitor Process: To visit the domes, just come by! We have community dinners at 6:30 or 7:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. We also have work parties at 8:30 and meetings at 6pm, every other Sunday. Shoot us an email if you are interested in visiting!
