Commonly known as "the domes", Baggins End is a community of 28 students housed in fourteen double occupancy dome-shaped buildings.
Constructed in 1972, Baggins End is situated on the northwest sector of the campus adjacent to the Sustainable Research Area and includes approximately three acres of garden space. The living environment of the domes emphasizes community, cooperation, and responsibility. Residents make a significant contribution to the care of their surroundings and program administration, including selection of occupants.

Visitor Process: To visit the domes, just come by! We have community dinners at 6 or 7 pm, Sunday through Thursday. We also have work parties at 10am and meetings at 4pm, every other Sunday. Or, send an email to the current webmaster (email listed on this site), or give us a call at any of the numbers listed.
